During her studies Catharina Decker attended internships in several clinical and economic businesses.
From 2009 to autumn 2011 she worked as a research assistant at the German Police University. There she managed the project “Jobs in the Shadow”(German “Berufe im Schatten“) which was advocated by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the European Social Fund. The project objected to examine and foster service quality as well as customers‘ service appreciation in the retail trade and heath care services. Beyond that she worked as a tutor for research methods and also trained police officers in “Leading with educated emotions”.
Since February 2012 she works as a research assistant in the EU-Project "Conflict Resolution, Mediation and Restorative Justice and the Policing of Ethnic Minorities in Germany, Austria, and Hungary" (COREPOL) at the German Police University in Münster.
