respect

Personal statement: “It is more valuable to be respected than to be occasionally admired.” - Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712-78).

All too often people are attracted by short- term goals and eye- catching achievements. And thus, it is often admiration that people strive for and not a lasting respect. Even entire organizational cultures have often evolved in the very same way - making decisions that drive the stock price up, but, over time, undermine the (value) foundations of their own company. I am very proud to be a part in this exceptional project, as it is dedicated to long-term interpersonal processes with particular focus on the value of respect as an organizing mechanism to handle vertical and horizontal conflicts beyond short-term admiration.
