Academic background:

After having graduated from high school in Hamburg in 2000, Dr. Sebastian Zenker began his studies of management economics at the University of Hamburg in the year 2001. He focused in his studies on human resources and marketing. In addition he studies in his minor in work and organizational psychology. In 2007 Dr. Sebastian Zenker got his PhD with the focus of place marketing. In 2010 he finished his dissertation about "Cities as Brands: Quantifying Effects in Place Marketing" and since then he works as a postdoctal researcher at the Erasmus University Rotterdam on the identification between residents and their place of living.
