Professional background: Before studying, Dr. Sebastian Zenker gained first practical experiences in a four month trainee program at the advertising agency Vasata Schröder as a text trainee. Before that (during his school time) he had already worked for the KnowIt! publishing house (later known as KnowWare publishing house) as a journalist on a free-lancer basis. For his civil service in 2001 he worked at the University Hospital Hamburg Eppendorf (UKE). Since then he has been working there at the child intensive care unit as a student worker. Above that Dr. Sebastian Zenker is also a member at the "Marketing zwischen Theory und Praxis e.V." (marketing between theory and practice) since 2001 and was nominated as the association's chairman for three terms.
