Academic background:After graduating from high school in Lübeck and two long stays abroad, Tilman Eckloff studied Psychology at the Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel from 1998 to 2000. In this period he participated in a mentoring project at his department. After transferring to the University of Hamburg in 2000, he has been focusing on Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Consulting and Training. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Alexander Redlich and Prof. Dr. Friedemann Schulz von Thun he specialized on Problem and Conflict Management. His Final Thesis was an extensive empirical research project on the interrelation of the different aspects of sex and gender. Tilman Eckloff completed his Master’s degree in Spring 2004. In June 2009 he finished his dissertation: "Respectful Leadership and Its Effect on Influence Processes in Leadership Dyads".
