Professional background: After doing his PhD in Frankfurt with Axel Honneth as a fellow of the German National Academic Foundation, Dr. Daniel C. Henrich completed a research visit at the Boston University. He then worked as an assistant professor at the department for Philosophy & Economics at the University of Bayreuth. He was also an associated member of the research group »Challenges to the Image of Humanity and Human Dignity by New Developments in Medical Technology« at ZiF, University Bielefeld, Germany. Currently, he is Post-Doc fellow of the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG) at the University Tübingen. His main focus is on practical philosophy (discourse ethics, bioethics, Kantian Ethics, business ethics), social philosophy and philosophy of mind.
