Personal statement: To raise the organisational culture and values does mean more than to increase the sales and the incomes and to have good investor relations. The potential to increase values can be found in the entire organisation, thus, in human behavior and action, too. Psychologists can raise the development and the efficiency of single persons, groups and entire organisations. They support and accompany individual or social processes of development or change. Psychological issues do matter in almost every aspect of economical processes, e.g., in personnel selection processes or processes of leadership. The conception of respect plays a prominent role in these processes. For me, the word “respect” represents a basic connection between two people.
