Academic background: Dorothee Vogt studied cultural studies and communications at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg and at the Universitá degli studi di Macerata, Italy. Her master thesis was about the construction of European identity an cosmopolitism as possible normative source of “unitiy in diversity”. In collaboration with the RespectResearchGroup Hamburg she designs and executes interdisciplinary colloquia for young researchers. In 2010/2011 she has been nominated Associate of the foundation Stiftung Neue Verantwortung Berlin.
