Professional Background: Britta Mueller-Schauenburg was working as a full nurse spezialised in care of elderly people from 1993 to 2000, first in a hospital, after that in a nursing service for out-patients as director of the service. She finished a special training in leadership of social organisation. She worked also as teacher for trainees in nursing. 2002-2009 she was working as researching and teaching assistant at the roman-catholic theological department of the University of Tuebingen. Since 2009 she is working as researcher and teacher at the Hugo von Sankt Viktor – Institut for medieaval Sources under the directio of Prof. Rainer Berndt SJ at the Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule Sankt Georgen in Frankfurt am Main.
